Finally diagnosed....

It has now been two years I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia..Fibro for short. As I wrote earlier it took my current primary doc three years of testing and questions (lots and lots of them) to rule out other immune disorders before referring me to a specialist who examined me and immediately confirmed what I was 99% certain of. I have Fibromyalgia. 

My rheumatolgist placed me on a couple of medications and they have been very helpful thus far in relieving much of my pain and aiding me in some sleep. There are days however when they are of less assistance. Cold, damp weather exacerbates the pain tremendously and the best I can do is take my meds, bundle up and stay in where it is warm and dry. 

I am grateful for the diagnosis I have because I know it could be worse. MS and Lupus are very difficult diagnosis to live with as well.. 


My hands hurt like they have been beaten and my back, well the pain is so very everywhere today and worse tonite.  I will be back tomorrow...Thanks for stoppling by!
