Appointment with specialist...

What an incredibly long scorching day it was for me. I was absolutely exhausted upon rising from my bed this morning. I tossed back a half a cup of Joe, took my boys outside for their usual business and headed off to see my Rheumatologist an hour away.

I woke this morning with both of my hands tingling all the way to the ends of my fingers. Quite odd feeling to have in both hands and all fingers. First time it happened like this. She examined my arms, hands and points on all extremities which were monumentally painful.

Good news? I have lost a couple more pounds! Yayyy me:) I am inching slowly towards my short term goal then in 7 pounds from now I will create another goal:)
Water has become my best friend along with cutting out so many foods that had high fructose corn syrup in them. Fresh fruits. Lots of them:)

Doc and I talked over how the Fibromyalgia medications are working. We both agree that what I am on are working and do not want to change them. I shared with my Doc everything that had gone on with my getting sick with Bronchitis including my visit with the E.R. staff and the following two visits to my primary. We also discussed the need for my body to have a schedule at least at evening time. So I am going to begin a routine after the weekend, on Monday evening and stick with it by retiring at the same time each evening. My circadian rhythm has always been messed up as far back s I can recall. It was never really what you would call normal" even as a child. So I will be setting alarms to ensure I do my best and see what happens within the following few months of this experiment. I will be blogging it of course and keeping my updates here.

The return trip was at noon right in the worst part of the days heat. I had no idea just how bad the heat was until I arrived home and hit the NOAA  website and DANG!!! It was 99% F and with the heat index it was 106% F... Triple Torpedoes Batman!!! Whoooosh!!!!!
I am seriously thinking about getting a plastic kiddie pool. I am melting here and the beloved beach is an hour away...at least, depending on traffic.

Still experiencing a headache from the severe heat. I have no air conditioning in my car. I need freon and there is no way I can afford to get it. I checked on the price range and depends if it needs topping off: 30-50 dollars or something more which could be around 125/150 dollars.
I am in need of a small Astro Van (or similar) as it is and would gladly trade this car for one. I will be needing a vehicle soon.

Ok folks time to wrap this up and relax. Have a splentastic weekend!
Peace,
Elizabeth
