The pain in winter is worse than in summer's heat. I have been so cold to the bone I could not get warm even dressing like an Eskimo.
Summer the pain is still an all over pain. Sort of like being jabbed relentlessly with fiery spears into my hips and other joints. My knuckles are ALWAYS in pain no matter the season. Neck and back are continual angst.
Very oddly about 2 months ago my hands were so cold to the point of freezing and I was in tears. Think of winter icicles and and how they can break into pieces. Well that is what my hands were like.
I turned the kitchen faucet on waiting until the water became really hot hot and then held my hands under the soothing water until they thawed out and warmed up.
So how does the weather affect your Fibro and pain? Does it affect your mobility at all? If so how does it restrict you and how do you work around your schedule when the mobility and/or pain issues arise?
What about migraines and weather changes - Do you experience any migraines with the barometric pressure changes?
When the barometric pressure changes I know I feel it and experience horrendous migraines. Seems to be nothing thus far to control or rid me of those brutal beasts. I take my Wonderful Gel Ice pack and head to bed refreshing the ice pack periodically until the pain is gone.
Peace
Elizabeth
