This Little Engine...

#NHBPM #HAWMC Day 16 Little Engine Post
Write a list post with 10-15 lines that start each with “I think I can…”
Write 5 lines at the end that start with “I know I can.”

I altered the prompt and here is my version:...
I think I can...I think I can set a small reasonable goal and work to achieve it at my own pace whatever that is and reward myself when I attain that goal. Even if I do not reach the goal, yet have propelled forward it is still a positive motion and I acknowledge that.
I think I can...get my entire house clean...One room at a time as I am able to. It may take one room a week but I can do it....My way...
I think I can...not feel guilty when I need my afternoon naps. It's not like I am lazy. I have a real illness that wears me out.
I think I can...go for longer walks, even if it means taking my pal the walking stick *aka* the cane....exercise is good for me and so is the fresh air.
I think I can...Remember I can educate people on my illnesses and work towards erasing ignorance and Stigmas.

I Know I can....I know I can achieve whatever I set my mind to, and I know bite size goals are easier to grasp hold of and are more realistic than to set a huge unrealistic one. I have learned from the error of setting monumental goals and failing miserably landing flat on my face and again on my bottom. I looked at the goals I had set, re-prioritized them and re-set those goals. I discovered the hill was a little easier to climb once I made the goals bite-sized.
I know I can...Help to eradicate Stigmas and ignorances of the Invisible Illnesses I have by sharing Education and creating Awareness  so I do what I am able to, in the time frame I have with the resources around me and I achieve the goals I set forth for me.
If what I am doing helps motivate another "Little Engine" out there then cool!
